About Dr. Hyacinth

Dr. Hyacinth Kinley lived and served in the Sumter Community since 1990. A mother of three grown children, two beautiful granddaughters, and a handsome grandson. She served with Sumter School District 17, and worked in Human Resources for over 29 years. She is currently serving as a Real Estate Agent in South Carolina. Dr. Kinley is a past Sumter Sunrise Rotarian, Paul Harris Fellow, and a Chamber Leadership Class X graduate who volunteered as a Board Member in the community with Sumter United Ministries and the Historic Preservation. During her Doctorate journey, Hyacinth was part of the “Squad,” a group of diverse women working on their Doctorate, studying together, encouraging one another, and keeping each other accountable. This encouraged her to mentor other women and lift them regardless of nationality and ethnicity. As a hobby, she enjoys being with her granddaughters, people-watching, encouraging people around her, and watching Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD. Her motto: “I have never met a stranger,” and “I try to do what God expects of me. She holds three real estate designation certificates: Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Short sale and foreclosure resource (SFR), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Commercial Real Estate Investment Services (CREIS), and a certificate with Resnet.
